  • At Sedalia Music Academy, we believe that music knows no age limit!

    While it may be rare to find prodigies starting at a tender age of 4, many of our youngest students embark on their musical journeys thrive.

    The students are able to grow alongside their skills, nurturing their talents as they age.

    We also celebrate those who begin their musical explorations later in life!

    Many seniors find their spark of curiosity and joy in learning instruments. It’s never too late to pick up a violin, guitar, cello, or any other instrument.

    Music learning is a lifelong adventure, and we are here to support our students every step of the way!

  • To start your music learning process, you'll need some essential items based on your instrument.

    We strive to make education accessible and will assist you in finding the resources you need.

    We're proud partners with Backwoods Guitar, conveniently linked in our music supplies section, where you can find various music products.

    Your instructors will ensure you have all the tools necessary for success in your lessons!

  • Pay a visit to our friends at Backwoods guitar, located in downtown Sedalia at 120 S. Osage Avenue. They have a large selection of violins, violas, cellos, electric pianos and, of course, guitars! Backwoods Guitar staff can confidently size a student for the appropriate size instrument. Between rental and purchase options, you are sure to find quality instruments with reasonable price ranges and attentive staff.
